Evelyn Ponce

Welcome! I am a therapist providing virtual only sessions. I specialize in depression, anxiety disorders (including social phobia), pregnancy, and postpartum. I have experience in community-based mental health as well as school and government-based agencies. I work best with people who want to take an active role in building the life they want, figuring out the person they want to be and how we can build on all of their innate strengths to live a rich and meaningful life, even in the face of disappointment, loss, frustration, and pain. My therapeutic approach is rooted in a variety of treatment modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Trauma Focused, & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I provide a person-centered approach; I believe that you are the expert of your own life and we work collaboratively.
