I am an independently licensed mental health counselor/therapist providing services in the Wichita Metro area. I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, community mental health, residential homes, skilled nursing & long term care and private practice. I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia with a major in Psychology and a minor in Children's & Women's Studies. Following my undergraduate work, I completed my graduate work at Wichita State University right here in Wichita, Kansas earning my Master of Social Work degree. Within my therapeutic experience, I like to think holistically and make sure to pay attention to the connection between mind/body/spirit. I utilize a solutions focused, strengths based and behavioral approach as well as a mindfulness-based skill set and have completed extensive training in trauma, anxiety and mindfulness therapy. I believe in your ability to heal and expand your personal growth through maintaining a positive approach with the right support system behind you. As your therapist, I aim to offer emotional support and create confidence while helping to guide you on your path to healing through difficulties, trauma, decisions or plans. My goal is to motivate you and help you create a new path through your journey.
