Where identity, wellness, and growth come together.

Hi and welcome! My name is Emily Nuñez, LMHC. My approach to therapeutic work begins with warmth, welcome and openness. Specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, I offer an eclectic approach tailored to fit the needs of my patients who may be experiencing a range of challenges that can include depression, grief, anxiety, post traumatic stress, and/or emotional disturbance. Holding my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness, I am also a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional (CMIP). As a Native New Yorker, and Puerto Rican psychotherapist, my values of cultural competency and emotional safety remain priority, ensuring my therapy is LGBTQ+ and BIPOC affirming. My practice is to continue cultivating space for authenticity, confidence building and truth-telling as a gateway towards sustained emotional healing. I hold the privilege of supporting, and witnessing my patients and their continued blossoming. Grounding work, mindfulness practices, affirmations work, narrative/journaling prompts, additional reading and supplemental resources may also find it's way into the therapeutic structure. My love and dedication to this work is unending. My wish is that our work supports you in becoming a more confident manager of your inner world, especially as you navigate the more difficult seasons of this life.
