Emily Hogan
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Prior Davidson College RLO Assistant Director serving students as a therapist in the Davidson Community.
It takes much courage and vulnerability to explore therapy! Thank you for taking the time to read about me and my therapeutic approach. I strive to create an authentic, supportive, and collaborative space for every one of my clients. In this non-judgmental environment, we can navigate life's challenges together, learning to set boundaries, engaging in self-care, developing new coping strategies, and managing difficult emotions. I firmly believe that every individual has innumerable strengths and inherent dignity, and sometimes we just need a little extra support to navigate life. I incorporate evidence-based practices to help individuals thrive in body, mind, and spirit. Although I have varied experience in numerous mental health concerns and populations, I specialize in supporting adolescents and young adults with the many challenges that arise during a time of heightened transition and uncertainty. It would be my privilege to journey alongside you as your therapist. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. I'm proud of you for having the courage to take the first step!
