Emily Garner
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Hi! I am an LCSW working with Foundations Family Therapy. If you feel as though you’re just surviving day to day, let’s chat and help you thrive instead!
With 8 years of experience in the field of therapy, I specialize in supporting children, teens, families, couples, and young adults through a range of challenges. My approach is informed by evidence-based therapies, including Adoption, Attachment, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including intensive in-home services and residential treatment environments, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of the unique needs individuals and families face. My work is rooted in fostering emotional growth and healing through building secure connections, improving coping skills, and helping clients navigate their personal and relational challenges. Whether you're facing the complexities of adoption, navigating attachment difficulties, or seeking strategies to manage emotions and behaviors, I am here to provide a compassionate and collaborative space to help you thrive.
