Else Trygstad-Burke

I hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Indiana University and work with clients of all ages, including children and families. My goal as a therapist is to help clients develop the skills and confidence needed to navigate and overcome the many challenges that can arise throughout the lifespan. My practice is trauma-informed, affirming, and inclusive for clients of all backgrounds and identities. I specialize in working with clients who are seeking support with life transitions, anxiety, mood disorders, relationship issues, and self-esteem. As an athlete and former professional cellist, I also have training and experience working with athletes and performers of all ages and abilities on issues of performance anxiety and injury recovery. I aim to make my counseling practice into a welcoming and safe space for all clients. I am attentive to the unique needs of each individual client and maintain a practice that is strengths-based and culturally sensitive. I believe that the power to heal and grow is already there for each individual - my role is to walk alongside you as you discover it!
