Ellison Cale

My area of specialty is Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for treating anxiety disorders and obsessive compulsive disorders. Some of these problems include excessive worry, panic attacks, phobias, skin picking, hair pulling, intrusive thoughts, hoarding, and OCD. While some of these treatments are very structured, I also have considerable experience in being flexible and effectively adapting the treatments to clients' individual needs. I am flexible in working with people who have either short-term or long-term therapy needs, and I believe that a collaborative, working alliance with a client is essential to the effectiveness of treatment. I am originally from the Tidewater area of Virginia. My doctoral degree is in Clinical Psychology, and I completed my graduate work at Emory University in Atlanta.
