(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I struggled with my mental health in college and am passionate about making your college years better.
I specialize in therapy for life transitions, eating concerns, body image work, depression, anxiety, women’s issues, and relationship concerns. As a therapist, I hope to inspire you to take the next step of your own wellness path by challenging the stories you tell yourself. I believe all people are able to find balance and attunement with themselves, and I am happy to guide and support you in that process as we write each new chapter of your life. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, which is fairly adaptable to most clients’ needs. In practice, I rely on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Eating Disorders, Intuitive Eating, Mindfulness, Feminist Theory, and a few other modalities. I believe in gender-affirming, weight-neutral treatment that is rooted in the Health At Every Size paradigm. In my free time I enjoy reading, buying books, baking, resisting the urge to water my succulent, listening to podcasts, time with my daughter and husband, journaling, watching Gilmore Girls on repeat, looking at pictures of Camaros, and running. My graduate degree is from Marywood University; I have experience working at Bucknell University as an eating disorder therapist and in community mental health/group practices in an outpatient capacity.
