Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
“I meet every client with deep empathy and understanding, offering skilled, compassionate support to help them heal, grow, and feel truly supported.”
Life can feel overwhelming sometimes — between school, relationships, family, work, and figuring out who you want to be, it’s a lot. My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you can be completely real — no judgment, no pressure — just honesty, growth, and support. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a partnership. We’ll work together to understand what’s going on beneath the surface, build tools to manage stress or anxiety, and move toward the kind of life you actually want. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — to help you change unhelpful thoughts and patterns — with insights from Polyvagal Theory and mind-body connection work, helping you tune into how your body and emotions communicate. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, or just trying to make sense of life after a big change, I’m here to help you feel grounded and capable again. I’ve been a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois for over 20 years and offer both telehealth and in-person sessions in Champaign, IL. I’m also an LGBTQ+ ally and welcome clients of all backgrounds. Insurance accepted includes Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Alliance, and United Healthcare Student Resources. I also work with clients privately or out-of-network, including those transitioning out of psychiatric care for self-harm or severe depression. If you’re ready to start feeling more like yourself again — or maybe discover who that is — I’d be honored to walk that path with you.
