Elizabeth (Beth) McErlean

I look forward to meeting you. I am a LCSW and also have a MS in Criminal Justice. I have been a social worker for about 10 years and worked in the court system for about 10 years before that. I work primarily with teens and young adults with anxiety or complex childhood trauma issues. I also work with first responder or emergency services individuals who are experiencing some vicarious trauma. I also have experience with individuals struggling with suicide thoughts and substance use co- occurring issues. I practice from primarily with CBT. and my therapy philosophy is to provide a safe, non judgmental place to process thoughts, emotions and behaviors. It is very important that my clients experience a client centered, strengths based approach in therapy. I am not in the business of giving advice or telling a client how to live their life. I am here to help you work around the barriers that are stopping you from living the life you want to live.
