Elizabeth Chaisson
Psychologist, Psychotherapist
I offer experienced, well-trained, highly skilled, personalized individual psychotherapy for a wide range of commonly presenting mental health concerns
I offer highly skilled, personalized individual psychotherapy for a wide range of commonly presenting mental health concerns. I have over 15 years experience treating problems such as depression, anxiety, PTSD and trauma-related stress, relationship problems, parent-child relationship difficulties, and early childhood behavior problems. I also offer longer-term treatments for substance use concerns, complex and chronic PTSD, and personality disorders such as borderline personality disorder and narcissistic personality disorder. I work to tailor my treatment approach to the individual client based on their needs and abilities, incorporating clinical expertise and current knowledge of latest developments in the field. I use a sensitive, interpersonal approach to build a strong therapeutic relationship in which safety and trust may be established as an important foundation for a positive psychotherapeutic experience.
