I am a licensed professional counselor open to working with anyone facing obstacles related to depression, anxiety, trauma, and other challenges.

I am a licensed professional counselor in Fayetteville, AR working with adolescents (12+) and adults of all ages facing obstacles related to depression, anxiety, and trauma. As a humanistic practitioner, I center you as the client, your knowledge of yourself, and your values and beliefs in seeking to help you overcome challenges. I believe it is my role to help you process and make meaning from your experiences as well as learn to more effectively manage your thoughts and feelings in ways that are congruent to you. There are a few areas I can offer additional insight and expertise based on my training and life experience. I have a history of work in parish ministry as well as hospital and hospice chaplaincy. While I do not practice from a religious perspective, I do enjoy supporting others as they explore issues related to faith and spirituality, regardless of their beliefs, tradition, or background. I have taken additional coursework in sex, gender, and sexuality and am comfortable and competent working with clients on related issues. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming, and welcome clients regardless of their gender or sexuality. I am also trained in ketamine assisted psychotherapy which has been shown to be effective in combatting symptoms of depression and anxiety, even when other treatments have been unsuccessful. I believe the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative process. It is my role to help you define your goals but not to define them for you. Success in the counseling process will look differently for each individual. I would be glad to schedule a free consultation to help you decide if I am the right person for you to work with.
