I aim to remain culturally sensitive and open to what is priority for you. I believe your voice has value & I'm ready to listen.

Being able to be relational and understanding has been a key component to what I feel is necessary in the client-therapist alliance. You should always be able to work with a professional that is open to hearing you while holding you accountable for the goals you define as a necessity for your growth and healing. It has been my experience that big words doesn't lead to openness, rather it limits the opportunity for the client and therapist to see each other in a way that is needed to establish an ethical and valuable alliance. It would be my honor to learn who you are and who you are fighting to introduce to others. It's never easy feeling unaccepted, unheard, and dismissed. Struggling to manage moods, whether it's living with autism/intellectual disability, triggers from a traumatic event(s), anxiety, or depression can be overwhelming. I invite you to take the steps toward processing and using realistic skills to manage challenges without judgement. Together we will create a space to disprove what anxiety, depression, and/or stress says is unrealistic. Together we can strengthen healthy coping skills, confidence, and insight. As we work together, you will witness a more semi-structured style of CBT, DBT, person-centered, and a trauma-informed techniques being used to assist you. I specialize in helping others manage anxiety, unstable moods, and effects of trauma. I can assist you with recognizing impulse behaviors while processing situations that leave you overstimulated.
