Dr. Romi (Romi) Lyallpuri
(He/Him/His)
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse
Empowering you to manage anxiety, depression, psychotic disorders and more with tailored, trauma-informed care.
I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner and I specialize in depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, trauma-related disorders, adjustment issues, ADHD and insomnia. My background includes working in outpatient, community, and inpatient settings, including providing acute care at the NY State Psychiatry Institute. Your mental health care is as unique as you are. My approach combines evidence-based techniques like CBT, mindfulness, and supportive therapy with a trauma-informed perspective to ensure care is sensitive to your individual experiences. Together, we'll work on reframing negative thought patterns, managing stress, and improving emotional well-being. I prioritize creating a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. Whether you're navigating a life transition or managing a mental health disorder, I want to partner with you in developing strategies that foster resilience and long-term mental health. Taking the first step toward mental health care can be intimidating, but it's a powerful move toward prioritizing your well-being. Let's work together to help you achieve your goals and build a fulfilling, balanced life.
