(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Accepting new pts! "Life is a balance between what we can control & what we cannot. I am learning to live between effort & surrender." - Danielle Orner
Diane Mason, LCSW, CDBT, is a clinical therapist at Advaita Integrated Medicine. She brings a contagious positive energy to our team! Diane is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Social Work, having previously completed her Masters degree in Social Work in 2016 from Salisbury University in Maryland. Her Bachelors and Masters degrees are in social work with concentrations in women’s studies, psychology, and conflict resolution. Diane is certified to provide the Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) modality. “My approach to therapy is using different lenses to observe and understand a person’s goals,” Diane says, “My approach is informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma-informed and attachment theories, as well as ACT and CBT. We will work together to build your awareness of thoughts and emotions and to develop strategies to help guide you towards your goals. My approach also incorporates an understanding of the mind and body connection, so I will use that understanding to help you build awareness and offer another set of helpful tools.”
