Diana Brawley is a licensed clinical social worker and mindful self-compassion-informed psychotherapist.

Healing happens at the intersection of emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Mindful Self-Compassion–informed psychotherapist, I believe deeply in the healing potential of relationships and the capacity for growth that exists within every person. My work is grounded in authentic warmth, empathy, and an appropriate use of humor. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, respected, and empowered to explore their experiences and move toward healing. I honor each individual’s story, lived experience, and adaptive ways of coping, and I hold a strong belief in our shared ability to grow, change, and evolve over time. I provide individual therapy focused on anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions, drawing from person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based approaches. I also work with adults and couples navigating stress, trauma, relationship challenges, body image concerns, shame, and feelings of being stuck. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and relational, meaning the work is co-created and guided by each client’s unique perspective, strengths, and goals. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Charlottesville, I am committed to empathy, collaboration, and culturally responsive care in support of your mental health and well-being. I am dedicated to ongoing personal and professional growth and thoughtfully integrate both emerging research and time-tested therapeutic modalities into my clinical work.
