I have a particular interest in treating anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and women's mental health.

I have experience treating both mood and psychotic disorders, particularly in higher-acuity settings where patients were often experiencing a mental health crisis. Working with these patients has given me a strong understanding of how symptoms can progress when they're left untreated, so I focus on identifying early warning signs, negative trends, and potential triggers to help prevent symptoms from worsening. I'm passionate about making mental healthcare more accessible and patient-centered. Many people struggle to get the care they need because of long wait times, limited resources, or the stigma surrounding mental health. While I know we can't solve every gap in the system, I hope to make a meaningful difference one patient at a time by providing thoughtful, evidence-based care, helping patients feel empowered, and connecting them with resources and support whenever possible. I enjoy using a trauma-informed approach, recognizing that many individuals living with anxiety or depression have experienced past trauma or other difficult life experiences that continue to affect their mental health. Therefore, I place high value in creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard and supported, while working together to develop treatment plans that fit their individual needs and goals. In addition to medication management, I incorporate supportive therapy and motivational interviewing into my sessions. I believe the best outcomes come from treating the whole person, not just their symptoms, so I take time to understand each patient's background, relationships, and current stressors. I also enjoy providing psychoeducation to help patients better understand their diagnosis, treatment options, and coping strategies so that they can take an active role in their care.
