Deidre Joyner

A Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina who has been practicing since 2015, Deidre holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and an M.Ed. in Counselor Education. She specializes in Women’s Health, utilizing an integrative methodology designed to help individuals discover their best selves. Deidre supports young adults and adults between the ages of 18 and 64, challenging them to reclaim control over their own lives. Her goal is to work collaboratively with clients to identify and achieve personal objectives while fostering healthier coping mechanisms. In her clinical work, she incorporates evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Parenting Skills. Deidre is known for her down-to-earth personality and her commitment to listening and providing dedicated support throughout the healing journey. When not working with patients in Charleston, she enjoys staying active through exercise, listening to music, and exploring local restaurants. Her personal interests also include thrifting for unique treasures, collecting funky jewelry, and spending quality time with her family.
