Debra Sherman

Debra Sherman, MS, LPCC, is a licensed professional clinical counselor who focuses on providing educational and supportive individual counseling for adults. Based in Columbus, Ohio, she brings more than 25 years of experience to her clinical practice, having served patients in various environments including private practice, community mental health centers, and hospice care. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University and earned her master’s degree in clinical counseling from the University of Dayton. In her practice, Debra works with individuals navigating a broad range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorders. She also provides specialized support for those managing weight concerns, bereavement, stress, and relationship issues. Her therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness, to help her clients achieve their goals. Please note that her practice does not accept Medicare, Medicaid, or EAP.
