I welcome and affirm clients of all identities and backgrounds in my practice. We will work together toward your goals and creating a life worth living.

I have experience serving diverse populations of various socioeconomic statuses, backgrounds and cultures. I have worked in various clinical settings including non-profit and community based mental health agencies and in private practice. I provide assessment and treatment for depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, substance use disorders, personality disorders, and trauma related disorders including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have experience in working in Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Programs, medication assistance treatment programs, and relapse prevention and step-down programs. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy + Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE; I have devoted the past 10 years assisting individuals, privately and in group settings, in learning and implementing DBT skills to empower and enable them to increase mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness. My theoretical approach is based in Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (CBT & DBT) and is person-centered; my goal is to assist individuals in achieving their personal short- and long-term goals. I am passionate about the work I do and strive to develop rapport and create trust within the therapeutic relationship. When I begin working with you, we will collaborate to develop a plan for accomplishing your treatment goals
