I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor specializing in the treatment of anxiety or worry, low self esteem and relationship difficulties. I also enjoy working with issues related to identity, acculturation and life adjustments. More generally, I provide psychotherapy to those who are dissatisfied with themselves, their relationships or their career and who aspire to lead a more meaningful and fulfilling life. Psychotherapy leads to better self-knowledge, to making healthier life choices and to greater self acceptance and confidence, while reducing uncomfortable symptoms that interfere in daily living. I believe successful treatments are based on a warm, supportive and non-judgmental environment, where you can comfortably explore issues with me. I I believe in the inherent worth and dignity of each client and design my treatments to allow each individual to live a more full and exceptional life. I believe it is a privilege to help clients tap into their individual strengths and personal power to facilitate the growth and change required for a better life. I also have research experience in issues from family and social oppression to race, gender and intersectional identities. I am committed to creating an affirming and collaborative space of healing for people of all identities, and a special commitment to supporting the LGBT, Queer and POC communities.
