I have 20+ years of experience helping others shift their mental health from surviving to thriving. I affirm clients of all identities.

I believe people do their best based on what they’ve learned from important relationships and situations. We feel distress when what we’ve learned no longer works and our coping skills get overwhelmed. With the right conditions, growth can occur. I provide a safe and supportive space that encourages expressing yourself so that you gain greater self-awareness. You’ll develop a deeper understanding of your needs in relationship to yourself and others. Along this journey, healing occurs that offers new perspective taking and strategies to thrive. I use a culturally-informed lens that considers how identity impacts mental health, especially for those who experience marginalization. We’ll explore and set goals together that help you get to the outcomes you are seeking. Every person needs something different, so I draw from several approaches. Please reach out if you are interested in a particular type of therapy.
