Daniel Wilsea is a human performance professional specializing in the intersection of exercise science, sport psychology, and mental health. He provides mental performance coaching, strength and conditioning, and psychological support to athletes, coaches, and high-performing individuals. As a Licensed Mental Health Provider and Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), Daniel helps athletes and performers build confidence, focus, and resilience to excel under pressure. Daniel currently serves as a staff therapist and mental performance consultant at The Family Institute at Northwestern University. He also co-leads the Exercise & Sport Psychology for Mental Health (ESP-MH) Lab, an initiative pioneered by Dr. Michele Kerulis that promotes the physical, psychological, and social benefits of movement through evidence-based education and outreach. Recognized as an expert in the field, Daniel holds multiple certifications from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), including: Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) Inclusive Fitness Specialist Youth Sports and Fitness Specialist Physical Activity and Public Health Specialist Exercise is Medicine® credentialed provider In addition, Daniel is an Exos Fitness Specialist, integrating cutting-edge performance training methods with mental performance principles.
