We support adults and young adults navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, bipolarity, trauma, stress, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions and substance use-whether you are personally struggling or supporting a loved one. A Jungian style approach combined with practical teachings to live a better life are offered. Compassionate Counseling understands the pressures and nuances associated with the Duke culture through having worked at the University and by assisting students and employees for many years. Initial phone consultation can typically be scheduled within 48 hours and first appointments available within one week. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, NC State Health Plan, and Duke Student Insurance. Sliding scale available.
