Inclusive, collaborative therapist specializing in chronic illness and trauma and creating affirming spaces for clients of color and the LGBTQ+ community.

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Dana, and I’m passionate about making therapy a safe, welcoming space where you can heal and grow. I earned my Master of Social Work from NYU and have since worked in various mental health and community health settings, focusing on helping those dealing with substance abuse, chronic illness, or mental health concerns. One of my specialties is working with clients navigating chronic illness, where I help you understand how physical health impacts mental well-being—and vice versa. I’m dedicated to providing affirming care for clients of color and the LGBTQ+ community, ensuring that therapy is inclusive and feels like a space where you can be your authentic self. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, meaning we work together to create a treatment plan that fits your needs and comfort. I like to keep things relaxed, and I’m known to bring humor into sessions when appropriate—because I believe therapy doesn’t have to be stressful to be effective. I have experience with a wide range of therapeutic modalities like CBT, DBT, somatic experiencing, and mindfulness. We’ll find what works best for you and build a strong connection to help
