Courtney Wiseman

Board-certified psychiatrist Dr. Courtney Wiseman provides expert treatment for psychiatric disorders in patients ages 18 and older. Her extensive clinical background includes serving as a consult-liaison psychiatrist and providing supervision to residents at Northwestern University, as well as treating patients at the Northwestern Medical Faculty Foundation and in her own private practice. Dr. Wiseman also held an instructor position at Harvard Medical School, where she received a Miles Shore Research Grant to investigate the management of chronic mental illness across various practice settings. Her educational journey began at the University of Notre Dame, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts, followed by a medical degree from Georgetown University. She completed her psychiatric residency at the University of Illinois, Chicago, while concurrently obtaining a Master of Arts in public health from the University of Chicago. After completing her training, she served as the attending psychiatrist at Cambridge Hospital in Boston. Dedicated to the well-being of those she treats, Dr. Wiseman is committed to helping individuals reach their personal treatment goals and improve their management of daily life. She believes in providing the necessary care to help patients reach a better place in their mental health journey. Care is available for English-speaking adults in Illinois.
