  • Certified Havening Practitioner

    The Havening Techniques

Havening is a psychosensory technique that involves touch, attention, and imagination in order to engender healing and positive change in individuals. Havening works by triggering the delta waves in our brains through touch, attention, and imagination, which helps to discharge and alter the way traumas and negative emotions are stored. Havening has been shown to be effective in treating a range of conditions including anxiety, phobias, PTSD, chronic pain, and addiction.

  • Certified Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Allegheny Health Network & the Rowan University CARES Institute

TF-CBT is a structured, short-term treatment model that is highly effective at improving youth posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms and diagnosis. TF-CBT also effectively addresses many other trauma impacts, including affective (e.g., depressive, anxiety), cognitive and behavioral problems, as well as improving the participating parent’s or caregiver’s personal distress about the child’s traumatic experience, effective parenting skills, and supportive interactions with the child.

  • EMDR Practitioner

    EMDRIA

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a psychotherapy treatment that helps people heal from the emotional distress associated with traumatic memories and other distressing life experiences. It involves recalling past events while engaging in bilateral stimulation, such as side-to-side eye movements or tapping, which helps the brain process and integrate the traumatic memory.
