Corey Lariscy

My therapeutic approach starts with the therapeutic relationship. I utilize holistic healing rooted in mindfulness, self compassion, and strengths. I tailor my particular focus to the needs of the client. As a therapist I aim to make all clients feel comfortable and understood while engaging in self exploration and healing. Corey (she/her) received her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Auburn University. She is a licensed professional counselor and national certified counselor trained in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and EMDR. Her clinical background includes working with individuals throughout the life span impacted by trauma, physical and/or sexual abuse, eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults struggling with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. She works mainly from a humanistic and holistic approach that is collaborative, empathic, client-centered, trauma informed, and strengths based.
