(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I offer warm, thoughtful and collaborative psychotherapy to individuals who desire change, personal fulfillment and well-being.
I have over 20 years of experience as a licensed psychologist and 35 years as a meditation practitioner. I hold a master and doctorate degree in clinical psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. I am also the mother of young adult twins. I specialize in working with women who struggle with the emotional issues and experiences related to transitions including post-partum, parenting, menopause, empty-nesting, career conflicts, or loss. Women who may be questioning their choices, their values, their identity, their self-criticism, their worth, their capacity for self-care. While understanding that the historical basis of psychological issues plays a big part in freeing oneself from entrenched patterns, I encourage our work together to be focused on the present. I use mindfulness practices, somatic awareness, inquiry and insight, psychological education and the latest in neuroscience to augment the sessions. I bring interpersonal and trans-personal skills to the work, with a goal to move through suffering to greater sense of fulfillment and vitality.
