Christopher (Chris) Pena
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I help college students connect to their thoughts and feelings, progress toward an authentic self-relationship, and find vitality and meaning in life.
College, both undergraduate and graduate, is a time of discovery, exploration, learning, and making new friends and mentors. It can also be a time of personal and emotional confusion, upheaval, feeling disconnected from others, or maybe it’s just not quite the experience we hoped for. Undoubtedly, college is a critical time in our lives and can impact our sense of who we are for years. My approach is informed by cognitive behavioral therapy, existential psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic therapy. I am a proud "cat dad" of three black cats. I love to travel and play tennis. I am also fluent in French.
