My name is Dr.Christine Sainvil, I’m a licensed psychologist who provides culturally competent counseling services. Student rates included below.

Feeling stressed, overwhelmed, or anxious? Having trouble managing, or working through difficult emotions? Maybe you’ve considered therapy but are anxious about talking to someone. I invite you to take a chance and begin the journey towards that ideal self you have always dreamed of. My name is Dr. Christine Sainvil, and I am a licensed psychologist who provides culturally competent counseling services. I have an integrative approach to therapy, grounded in multicultural counseling, interpersonal theory, and cognitive behavioral therapy. I also am a qualified supervisor for Registered Mental Health Interns and am accepting trainees. My favorite quote about therapy is “Therapy is like a GPS, you plug in the destination, and it can help you figure out the best routes to reach that destination.” My job is to help you see all the possible routes and support you in creating the future you desire. I am licensed in NY & FL. I offer telehealth & in-person appts in FL and telehealth only in NY. My hope for my clients is that when they complete treatment, they have a better understanding of themselves, their strengths, and their emotions. At the end of therapy, my clients tend to feel empowered and equipped with a toolbox of techniques that will help them take on and manage any future life stressors.
