Christian Davis, LCSW, LCAS

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW) with my Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy. I began my career as a Licensed Recreational Therapy (LRT/CTRS), serving women experiencing substance use and trauma. I continued my education at Walden University, where I obtained my Master’s in Social Work (MSW). I specialize in working with individuals ages 18 and older who are struggling with anxiety, depression, substance misuse, grief and loss, trauma, relationship challenges, social skills, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, and faith issues. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. I also recognize the importance of recreation and leisure as part of the therapeutic process and am trained in integrating interventions that focus on improving physical, mental, and emotional well-being through recreation, sport, and FUN!
