Charles J. Kapp, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist with 40 plus years of experience at both the inpatient and outpatient level. Dr. Kapp works with patients across the life span- children through the aged populations. Diagnostics and treatment with these age groups are provided. Areas of specialization include: trauma, psychophysiologic illness, mood disorders, anxiety, stress management, metacognitive disorders including ADD/ADHD, addictions, eating disorders, marital therapy, developmental disorders, and behavioral disorders of childhood. Dr. Kapp places a strong emphasis on the utilization of empirical evidence based treatments and therapies including behavioral and cognitive behavioral interventions. Dr. Kapp did his undergraduate and graduate studies at Xavier University, Cincinnati Ohio and obtained his doctoral degree from the Florida Institute of Technology. Additionally, Dr. Kapp has been a Professor of Psychology in the School of Psychology at Xavier University for the past 45 years teaching in both undergraduate and doctoral programs.
