An elder-millenial specializing in anxiety, depression, young adult life transitions, religious trauma, family issues, and relationships/couples.

Special interests include counseling couples, anxiety, work/personal life balance, millennial issues, young adult phase-of-life transitions, grief and loss, spirituality issues, depression/anxiety, parenting struggles, self-esteem, assertiveness, effective communication and relationship concerns, childhood trauma, and women’s issues including infertility and pregnancy loss. Chantal lives with her spouse, three children ages 5, 7, and 11, two dogs, and a wild pack of perpetual dust bunnies just outside of Winston Salem, NC. A self-proclaimed ambivert, Chantal has always been passionate about all things psychology, which doesn't often get her return invites to dinner parties. She has a background in several different religions and spiritualities, including Buddhism, mentoring under abbot monk Phrakru Buddamonpricha at Wat Carolina Buddhajakra Vanaram, and considers herself a student of the universe-- constantly learning. When she's not in the office, she enjoys reading, being outside, teaching her children how to be in awe of nature, learning from the stillness of trees, traveling to obscure places, writing poetry, and creating art. At home you'll find her eating stinky cheese, watching Curb Your Enthusiasm and The Office reruns, or in her greenhouse singing to her plants.
