She completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health at UCSF in 1993, followed by a post-master's certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Rush University in 2009. Her diverse clinical background includes providing care across inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings for children, adolescents, and adults. While her primary clinical focus involves psychiatric evaluations and medication management, she also integrates brief solution-focused therapy alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
