Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
I will use a strengths-based approach to therapy while I incorporate elements of play, art, narration, relaxation, education, and neuroscience.
Hello and welcome! I am a Licensed Master Social Worker currently working toward clinical licensure. Additionally, I am working toward becoming a registered play therapist. My passion for social work and practicing as a therapist is fueled by meeting individuals as they walk through life’s joys and difficulties, while creating a welcoming and inclusive therapeutic space. Therapy is a journey and it is important to me that individuals feel accepted for who they are and what they bring to the therapeutic process. I have spent the majority of my career as a School Social Worker and have a particular interest in helping children, adolescents and their parents. I am committed to creating a caring, non-judgemental space for individuals to express their personal strengths, needs, and struggles. I am a proud ally for the LGBTQIA+ population and believe in the importance of continuing to grow in my knowledge of best practices in supporting the needs of not only this community but other diverse populations, such as the BIPOC and Neurodivergent communities.
