I am a licensed psychologist in Durham offering individual therapy both in-person and virtually.
My therapeutic style is inquisitive, direct, humorous, and warm. I use a collaborative and strengths-based approach tailored to each individual to develop new patterns and coping strategies to reduce suffering. I draw from psychodynamic perspectives, attachment theory, mindfulness, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. I maintain a feminist, sex-positive, and social justice-oriented lens in my clinical work, and recognize the detrimental impacts of marginalization in its various forms including racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and xenophobia.
