Carolyn (Carly) Mayo

I believe in collaborating with my clients on their journey to holistic wellness, and desire that my clients feel empowered by our therapeutic relationship. I values a warm and authentic counseling dynamic that takes into account the uniqueness of each client’s story when approaching treatment. My areas of interest include: trauma & dissociation, complex PTSD, depression, anxiety, college transitions, infertility, and women’s issues. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my husband and Shiba Inus, gardening, beekeeping, and baking. My volunteer work includes mentoring college students at my church, serving on the Advisory Committee for Beauty after Bruises (a nonprofit providing advocacy to those with complex trauma), and participating in International Society for the Study of Trauma & Dissociation’s Member Engagement Committee.
