I help adults manage depression, anxiety, ADHD, and burnout by creating actionable strategies for daily life, work stress, and emotional well-being.

Hi, I'm Carmen! I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from Hunter College. I provide telehealth services in New York, offering psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy for adults. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and ADHD. These conditions often affect daily functioning, whether it’s finding the motivation to complete simple tasks or staying present in meaningful moments. Therapy equips you with practical tools to manage symptoms and show up as your best self in all areas of life. Burnout is another common challenge, particularly in the workplace. Exploring boundaries between work and personal life can help prevent or address burnout. Simple strategies, such as scheduling time before or after work to shift from “work mode” to “self-care mode,” or reframing work experiences by noticing small positives, are some of the approaches I explore with clients. My Eastern background and Western training inform a whole-person model of care that extends beyond psychopharmacology. I believe empathetic and compassionate care fosters resilience and growth, enabling us to face life’s challenges together. You can expect a collaborative treatment plan tailored to your needs, incorporating lifestyle modifications and medication when appropriate to help you achieve the quality of life you deserve. In therapy, I frequently integrate supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to highlight strengths and empower you to make decisions aligned with your values and aspirations. For ADHD, I focus on organizational tools such as calendars, to-do lists, and methods like the Pomodoro technique. For anxiety, I use mindfulness exercises and cognitive strategies to challenge negative thought patterns. I am passionate about destigmatizing mental health by encouraging open, judgment-free conversations about thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and actions. My goal is to help you discover and strengthen your inner resilience. Outside of work, my self-care can vary based on the day. After a busy day, I enjoy unwinding with a good show or a light crossword puzzle. On lighter days, I turn to reading or playing pickleball, two of my favorite pastimes.
