My name is Carlos Duarte and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW 95070) and practicing psychotherapist. My approach when working with all clients is strengths-based and client centered. I am passionate about working with others and I am committed to helping you overcome the barriers that are making it difficult for you to be the best version of yourself. Whether you are experiencing a life transition, relationship complications, or need some support to get through daily life, I look forward to the possibility of working with you and supporting you on your journey. My approach is solutions-focused and also includes elements of mindfulness practice and CBT. My areas of speciality include helping clients through life transitions, relationship issues, and anxiety. Other areas of focus I am passionate about include working with individuals who have schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
