Carleton Lloyd

Dr. Carl Lloyd, PhD, PsyD, LPC, MAC, is a highly experienced Licensed Professional Counselor in Oregon who has been in practice since 1975. He holds a diverse educational background, including an MA in Religious Studies, an MS in Counseling Psychology, an MSSW in Clinical Social Work, an MA in Clinical Psychology, a PhD in Clinical Social Work, and a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. Dr. Lloyd focuses on addressing the multidimensional and multicultural needs of his clients through precise assessments, pertinent treatment planning, and evidence-based interventions. He works with a broad range of age groups, including children (6-10), preteens (11-14), teens (15-17), young adults (18-30), adults (31-64), and seniors (65+). His clinical practice is supported by therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Exposure Therapy, and Family Therapy. Additionally, he provides Christian Counseling, Couples/Marital Counseling, and Parenting Skills training. In his personal time, Dr. Lloyd enjoys reading and values quality time with his wife of 52 years, their four adult children, and 12 grandchildren, often playing card and board games.
