Therapy is a deep conversation, just for you. It's a chance to vent, to be heard, to figure things out. Call for a free consult to see if we can connect.

Finding the right therapist can be hard. Ask questions, check out my website, and we can meet up. Then, trust yourself. It should feel right, maybe scary or difficult but still right for you. I have been working with all kinds of people for a long time. I work with anxiety, depression, addiction, transitions, family stuff, trauma, relationships and a lot more. I use "modalities" called Hakomi (https://hakomiinstitute.com/), Internal Family Systems (https://ifs-institute.com), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, (https://www.apa.org/ptsd-guideline/patients-and-families/cognitive-behavioral), Buddhist Based Therapy (couldn't find a good link and, sorry this site wouldn't let me create hyperlinks. My approach is collaborative. Together we identify key issues or goals. We figure out the kinds of therapy that are best for you. Everyone is different and to be effective, we need to take the time to figure that out. My Buddhist background taught me to be open and see who each new client is, and what each person finds useful. I am very straight forward, I use humor whenever possible, and I am deeply curious.
