Cara Mattson

I believe that we all have inherent strengths. I utilize this strengths-based belief system in my practice while helping adults, children, or families harness their inner resources to navigate challenges. My experience consists of outpatient mental health treatment in a private practice environment as well as acute, crisis care in the community mental health setting. I enjoy working with all ages and will work with you collaboratively to set goals for treatment. I use an eclectic method pulling techniques and skills from a variety of modalities including: Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), play therapy, sand tray, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices.
