Candice Baker, a proud native of Georgia, is a compassionate and skilled mental health professional. With a Master's degree earned from Central Seminary, Candice combines rigorous academic training with a wealth of hands-on experience across a broad array of social service and therapeutic environments. She has worked extensively within the child protection and welfare systems, supporting children and families navigating complex social challenges. Her scope of experience extends to the mental health sector, where she has provided services addressing a range of psychological difficulties and life circumstances. Beyond child welfare, Candice has contributed significantly to the fields of parole, criminal justice, and the treatment of sexual offending. Her work in these areas demonstrates her ability to engage with individuals facing some of life’s most difficult challenges, extending her expertise to both adolescents and adults. Candice holds comprehensive knowledge in numerous areas of mental health, including Depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety disorders, Sexual abuse and trauma, Adolescent and adult sexual offending and Personality and mood disorders. Her expertise allows her to provide individualized care tailored to the unique needs of each client. Candice is particularly skilled in several evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT, Solution Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
