Welcome to my page and beginning your personal journey! I understand how tough life can get, and I'm so glad you're here. I imagine you may be dealing with feelings of overwhelming anxiety, stress within your personal relationships, LGBTQ+ concerns, over indulgence in alcohol, feeling "stuck" or unsatisfied, or possibly wanting to work through a history of trauma or mistreatment. In therapy, you can begin to heal from your past, or learn ways to better manage/decrease any negative feelings holding you back from really living the life you want. I practice from a person centered perspective: meaning that I meet my clients where they currently are and establish therapeutic goals together. My favorite therapies are using a mix of mindfulness, CBT (talk therapy) and EMDR (moving through past hurts and into present life). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Addictions Specialist with over 8 years in the field.
