Dr. T is an MD who works with people with complicated relationships with their bodies, eating disorders, LGBTQ+/ transgender/NB patients, OCD, and autism.

Caitlin Tillberg, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist (physician). She practices patient-centered and trauma-informed care, valuing patient autonomy and collaborative decision-making. Her niche is adults with complicated relationships with their bodies, whether due to disordered eating (including binge-eating and ARFID), gender dysphoria, chronic illness/disability, or trauma. She welcomes LGBTQ+ patients, especially trans and non-binary adults. She also enjoys working with patients with OCD, and autistic adults. The initial visit will be a 50-minute consult to see if Dr. Tillberg is a good fit for you. Please note some patients’ needs may be too urgent or complex for Talkiatry’s telehealth-only scope of practice (for example, recent suicide attempt, hospitalization, or inability to work, frequent crisis or self-harm, severe eating disorder, severe alcohol/substance use disorder, need for ketamine, non-verbal or Level 2/3 autism, etc.). Talk therapists are also available through Talkiatry for patients who see a psychiatrist there. Note Dr. Tillberg does diagnose and treat ADHD if needed, but does not consider it a specialty of hers except in the "AuDHD" (co-occurring autism and ADHD) setting. If ADHD is your main or only concern, she suggests establishing care with one of Talkiatry's many providers who do specialize in this diagnosis. Please also note that college students seeking an initial ADHD evaluation from Dr. Tillberg will likely be referred out for formal neuropsychological testing. Dr. Tillberg is licensed in NC, VA, and NY. Please contact Talkiatry directly if it seems new patient appts aren't available or your insurance isn't accepted, as MiResource & ZocDoc may be inaccurate. Dr. Tillberg looks forward to meeting you.
