Brynn Stember-Albrecht

I am passionate about the process of therapy, and I love my work as a therapist! I serve a variety of ages of individuals, from children to older adults. I particularly enjoy working with young adults. I intend to meet each client with acceptance and compassion, meeting you where you are at in the therapeutic process. It is my aim to collaborate with clients to reach their therapeutic goals and explore the concerns that they would like to examine more deeply. I am rooted in a psycho dynamic approach which explores potential origins of maladaptive patterns in an individual’s habits or relationships. Additionally, I utilize aspects of internal family systems (IFS) therapy to facilitate one’s personal exploration of their inner world. I also incorporate the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psycho education and mindfulness strategies to provide useful coping tools and insights that clients can utilize in their everyday life. I utilize trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TFCBT) to treat children and adolescents who have experienced trauma. Additionally, my background includes working with older adults who are in caregiver roles, facing health concerns, depression or anxiety. All are welcome in my office!
