Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), National Certified Counselor (NCC)
“Out of your vulnerabilities will come your strength.”- Sigmund Freud. I believe everyone possesses the capability of achieving their goals.
I look forward to working with you! I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University in 2021, preceded by my BA in Psychology from Salem College. I am also working on my Ph.D. in Counselor Education at UNC Charlotte. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A), a National Certified Counselor (NCC), and a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) in NC. I have experience working with clients on a wide range of issues including anxiety, ADHD, depression, interpersonal problems, self- worth concerns, motivation, self-harm, academic achievement, drug and alcohol concerns, grief, trauma, and suicidal thinking. I am skilled at working with individuals of all ages suffering with anxiety, depression, anger management, relationship issues, grief, and PTSD. Utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness, I will help you work towards your goals. Through person-centered and strength-based approaches, my hope is to help you find coping skills unique to you to help navigate the challenges life can present.
