Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Let's get curious about your thoughts and feelings.
Greetings! I have worked in the mental health field since 2012 as an Activity Coordinator, Patient Advocate, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and Licensed Professional Counselor. During my undergraduate studies, I resided in Bangkok, Thailand where I gained my BS in Psychology with certificates in Clinical Mental Healthcare and Diversity Awareness. There I volunteered regularly at the orphanage and worked at the UMUC Campus to help adults further their education. I served in the US Navy which provided me an opportunity to experience various cultures. I implement knowledge and skills I have gained through my personal life experiences and education to assist individuals with working through anxiety, depression, trauma, life stressors, and challenges with transition and adjustment. I utilize Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused, Strength-Based and other evidence-based strategies in my therapy session. I believe as a therapist, I am here to help guide the individual through their journey of learning more about themselves and gain tools to manage through life stressors. I am friendly, respectful, realistic, and welcome clients of all identities and backgrounds in my practice.
