Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Psychotherapist
I emphasize tailoring each session to you by drawing from modalities such as CBT, DBT, and ACT, interweaving psychodynamic modality with Christian roots.
Life can be challenging, especially when balancing our daily stressors, social interactions, interpersonal relationships, raising children, family dynamics, self-identity, and faith in God while trying to heal from our past. As we navigate through life, we find our past doesn't define us, but our experiences shape our responses, reactions, interactions with others, and coping mechanisms. Therapy offers insight into how to learn to heal from our emotional and mental wounds. However, the healing process isn't easy, and there is no one-size-fits-all to therapy. I emphasize tailoring each therapeutic session to you by drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy while pulling from a Psychodynamic modality with a Christian faith-based foundation to achieve your desired goals. After serving in the military, I learned that change doesn't happen overnight, but staying consistent, being self-compassionate, and having a safe space to express yourself is a step towards mental and emotional healing so you can live authentically without emotional or cognitive barriers holding you back from your true potential.
